I work as an AD and an artist and illustrator on the side. I have authored and
illustrated nearly twenty children’s books, and done work as a product
designer, including jewelry and many accessories for home-use and else.

Example i have designed the “Vaaralla” home textiles line for company name Kotomo.

I have achieved valued awards and scholarships over the years, including Linnamo säätiö -04, Entrepreneur of the year in paltamo 2007, Pro Kainuu -price -12, the Cultural award of the municipality of Paltamo in 2006 and 2013 and prices in illustration, poster and logo design contests.

I am an active member of Finnish graphic designer's organisation Grafia ry, Kuvittajat ry, Pohjolan Valimo ry and sport club Paltamon Puumat ry. I am member of Taike (Arts Promotion Centre Finland) Monitaiteiden toimikunta and Pohjois-Pohjanmaan ja Kainuun taidetoimikunta.
